The Truth Tattoos

My name is Omar. I am the owner and founder of The Truth Tattoos. Ever since I can remember, I have had a passion for expressing myself through different forms of art. Artists run on both sides of my family, so as soon as I could pick up a pencil or crayon, my mom began teaching me techniques in art creation. This was something I carried through my entire life. No matter what circumstance I found myself in, I always found time and a place to doodle. My subje…

Hi, my name is Zak. I have been tattooing professionally since 2013 and I am dedicated to growth in this industry.  Although I am a well rounded artist, I particularly enjoy doing traditional, neotraditional and japanese style tattoos.  I get excited to incorporate a client's unique ideas and concepts when designing custom tattoos.

I am a laid back guy and add a twist of upbeat, fun loving humor to the team's atmosephere…

Hi, my name is Laura.  I've been tattooing since 2011. I am dedicated to creating the best art that I can with each client that I work with.  I believe that how each piece flows with a person's body is an important part of what makes a tattoo great.  Flexibility is something that I pride myself on.  I don't feel that I have a set style and this allows me to meet my client's needs and wishes.  I enjoy challenging&…

Hi! My name is Jennie.  I have always identified as an artist.  Over the years I have learned to work with many different mediums; in addition to tattooing I enjoy drawing, painting, woodwork and sculpture.  I also have a degree in graphic design although I tend to do most of my art by hand and use the computer as a refining tool.  I started tattooing at a shop down in Texas from 2011 to 2013 while I was active duty in the Air Force.  When my …

About Omar Yarborough

My name is Omar. I am the owner and founder of The Truth Tattoos. Ever since I can remember, I have had a passion for expressing myself through different forms of art. Artists run on both sides of my family, so as soon as I could pick up a pencil or crayon, my mom began teaching me techniques in art creation. This was something I carried through my entire life. No matter what circumstance I found myself in, I always found time and a place to doodle. My subject was always what I was into in that phase of my life.

In my teens I made some pretty bad decisions and started down a path of destruction. This eventually lead me to the federal prison, where I was first introduced to tattooing. I knew then, it was my destiny to open a studio, and that tattooing would be my vehicle to raising myself to a more productive place in my mind and in society.

A self taught artist, I consider my real start in 2009 after my release, when I started tattooing full time. Within two years, I brought my vision to fruition, and opened the doors to The Truth Tattoos, in 2011.

For me, tattooing is very personal. It symbolizes freedom, and more than just freedom of expression. I view life as a constant movement toward excellence, and I am able to show this as my technical skills and artistic abitlity to express myself through art on skin increase. I take this same approach when it comes to The Truth Tattoos, and want everyone who chooses to come get tattooed by to experience this same move toward excellence.

About Laura Frego

Hi, my name is Laura.  I've been tattooing since 2011. I am dedicated to creating the best art that I can with each client that I work with.  I believe that how each piece flows with a person's body is an important part of what makes a tattoo great.  Flexibility is something that I pride myself on.  I don't feel that I have a set style and this allows me to meet my client's needs and wishes.  I enjoy challenging pieces that incorporate elements of realism, art nouveau and neotraditional.  Color comes naturally to me but I also enjoy grayscale pieces.  I am honest, hard working and focused.

Outside of work, I am a dog mom and a video game enthusiast. I also enjoy building things and working with my hands. My favorite food is sushi (in case anyone wants to bring me some)  ;).

I look forward to answering any questions you may have and designing your next tattoo!

When my husband and I decided to start a family I chose to become a stay at home mom for my twin boys.  In 2016 I was lucky enough to find The Truth Tattoos and am now pursuing my licensure in MN.  It is an honor to work with such skilled artists.  I strive to be better than the day before and am dedicated to continuous learning.  My natural strengths are in black and gray and I want to eventually specialize in realism.  I pride myself on my creativity and am excited to design a tattoo specifically individualized for you!!  We'll see you soon!
